Thanks to Cai King for organizing and hanging the Postcard display at the Fresno Arts Council Gallery at 1245 Van Ness Avenue in Fresno, California. ArtHop started at 5 pm and continued until 8 pm. Many art enthusiasts stopped by the gallery to see the Postcards From California Fiber Art Challenge. ArtHop will continue on January 17 from 5-8 pm. The Postcard display will hang in the gallery for the entire month of January. I hope you will be able to stop by and see the Postcards making their first art gallery appearance. I couldn’t be happier.

  1. A big Thank You to Cai for organizing this, and a big Thank You and Congratulations to you, Gail, for the vision, then starting and organizing the whole thing. I’ve never had anything I made exhibited in an art gallery! I’m so pleased! In the picture, do you feel like Charlotte in “Sex in the City”?

  2. Well, thank you Nancy, your “Welcome to Charles M. Schulz—Sonoma County Airport” Postcard is proudly hanging in the gallery. It is in the third row right on the top. I was having camera issues last night and the pictures I took were with my IPhone, so I can’t enlarge them to show individual postcards. Charlotte in “Sex in the City”? Thank you!

  3. Gail and Cai, Congratulations on a successfull gallery appearance for the Postcards of California. What a great tribute to fiber arts to be included in a display at the Fresno Arts Council Gallery. Gail, your dream of a postcard challenge has turned into quite a wonderful display for everyone (not just fiber artists) to enjoy. The Wool Poppies are so proud of you!!
